They were the first two incorporated bodies of government, and took control when their corporate president Abraham Lincoln (who was ineligible to serve in the American government as he was an attorney and the actual 13th Amendment was in effect), called the unincorporated members from the northern states back into session, after the southern states walked out causing the third ad fourth bodies of the American government to absolve. The names have changed multiple times due to bankruptcies, the most recent I believe 2015.
